The Comment that ignited the Journey.
The corporate grip on opinion in the United States is one of the wonders of the Western world. No First World country has ever managed to eliminate so entirely from its media all objectivity - much less dissent: Gore Vidal
Mourn not the dead that in the cool earth lie, but rather mourn the apathetic, throng the coward and the meek who see the world's great anguish and its wrong, and dare not speak: Ralph Chaplin
A tallish woman of 35 years, Lisa was an attractive and outgoing person with a fast mind and a faster wit. Her stubbornness in never accepting face value comments or events had served her well in her Financial Accounting employment, allowing her to see straight to the truth in business affairs. This also had caused her a few interesting times in her private life too.
After her break-up from Allen, her last boyfriend, she had lived alone for the last year with her cat Rastas to keep her company. In hindsight, this had been a blessing which gave her time to spend countless hours and months researching and digging through books and articles with a passion which somehow took over her every thought and filled her with an urgency previously unknown.
It became more than a passion though. It became a quest.
One day, about a year ago, Lisa and her work friends decided to go out and “paint the town” to celebrate uncovering a multi-million fraud attempt that would have cost them all theirs jobs had the business deal proceeded.
It was Lisa’s innate sense of ‘something is wrong here’ and her dogged determination that had uncovered a scam so bold and so open that in hindsight everyone shuddered at the ease deceit is performed.
And that was when Paul her boss remarked ---
“It doesn’t really matter. None of it really matters. It is all false. Money is false. So by definition, the crime and deceit is false”.
Lisa was initially stunned. Here was her own employer with which she had tremendous respect saying things that not only seemed a nonsense, but challenged the very structure of all she had understood to be true. She made a point to follow this up with Paul as soon as possible.
A week passed before Lisa could approach Paul and ask for some sort of explanation as to his comment. Paul was most impressed that Lisa had in fact picked up on his words, had then pondered them, approached him, and was able to repeat word for word back to him.
Paul had a long distinguished career spanning Commercial Banking, Reserve Banking, World and United Nations Banking along with negotiating debt relief to small and large Nations alike. He knew it all.
And so Lisa became to begin her journey. Deep within her being, she knew she needed to learn everything about the paradigms and polarities of her world, to learn more about everything and in turn know more about herself and her true reality. So her beginning step was to study and learn the polarities occurring in order to understand and grow. And in doing so, she found herself breaking free of the illusion that surrounded her. She soon discovered a world that had been hidden from humanity for eons. A world that is safe, tolerant, loving, accepting, joyous and full of clarity and purpose.
Lisa would never be a victim or feel powerless again.
This is her journey.
