Lisa had studied many modalities using various procedures to affect healings both physically and mentally.

She quickly found that unless the recipient was earnestly wishing to change aspects in their lives and belief structures then generally anything was a waste of time. Some of the modalities even seemed to disempower the treated and even the practitioner even more!

Sometimes the treatments only served as a crutch or distraction thus allowing the sufferer to yet again avoid taking responsibility and making changes within themselves.

But Lisa noticed two modalities in particular which aided in opening up people gently to themselves and touch their inner strengths of self healing and awareness to heal.

She noted the gentleness and vibrations that emanated from differing types of crystals. She noted the applications used by science and technology which relied on the stability and inner energy of the amazing rocks. So Lisa learnt all she could about crystal toning, crystal massages, crystals on aura/charka points and elixirs made with crystals. And to the intuitive sensate she was, she found she could access individual crystals and read them. This opened up amazing realms and took her on stunning voyages into realms and lessons of purest intent.

Crystals are from the earth, and so are humans. Lisa learnt to apply these nearly incorruptible gems into her own journey of self discovery.

With nearly every event whether on earth, dreams or in astral realms the significance of symbols and symbolism took on added power and importance.

Lisa found an art incorporating symbols as bequeathed by spirit to be amazingly effective and that was the thousands of years old practice called Reiki.

The using of this ancient art never ceased to amaze Lisa at its gentleness, raw power and beneficial effects on both her and whoever she used it with. Her awareness and psychic levels grew stronger with its frequent use however the more she used Reiki the more she respected its intent and power.

Along with the forces existing both in her realm and others, Lisa was keenly aware that the opportunity for corruption was ever present. She recalled how her reiki teacher stressed repeatedly on how the symbols must be applied and no variation or laziness was allowed to enter their execution.

Lisa began to see that if a symbol was not given exactly how it was instructed, then higher forces can and do attach to the distorted energy arising from a distorted application and the outcomes were not always as intended. Lisa even read in books and on the internet that some symbols were to be performed backwards according to some folk. Was this akin to upside down crucifixes in some satanic masses? Did this reversal not only not do as intended but actually suck life force away to be consumed by some entity?

Lisa had to place her trust in those ancient masters who stressed symbols had a power. She honoured that power and never wavered from either her intent or that of her teachers.
